Amongst other valuable nutrients, just 100g of Almond nuts provides 264g of Calcium! Another interesting fact, is that Almonds are not nuts but are drupe fruit. A drupe fruit has an outer flesh which surrounds a shell with a seed inside. With almonds, it’s this seed that we eat. A few other examples of drupes are apricots and peaches!
