Danish cold-pressed rapeseed oil producer, Lehnsgaard Bornholm, were established in 2003 in the small town of Aakirkeby on the island of Bornholm. These guys are a family farm and are committed to their environmental credentials. Any of their residual produce is recycled to animal feed and heating and their production processes are solar powered too. There is a very small amount of certified organic rapeseed oil produced in the UK. If you didn’t know already, rapeseed crops are some of the most heavily sprayed so no one should really be going near the stuff that isn’t organic.
